Frequently
Asked Questions
How is the cost of a temporary kitchen facility or mobile kitchen determined?
The cost of a temporary kitchen facility or mobile kitchen from Kitchen Corps, Inc. is determined by several different factors that include the type and size of facility, lease or purchase term, and location.
Type and size of facility
Kitchen Corps has several types of temporary kitchens and mobile kitchens in our fleet with each unit being priced individually to match its capabilities. These units include full service temporary commercial kitchen facilities which include production, preparation, dishwashing, freezer, cooler and dry storage areas.
We also offer individual temporary production, preparation, refrigeration , freezer, dishwashing, and dry storage trailers. Each of our temporary kitchens is equipped with appropriate equipment and work spaces. Each set up can be customized to include bathrooms, dining facilities, generators, decks, ramps, and lift systems for an additional cost.

When determining what size of temporary kitchen facility or mobile kitchen will work best for your project, our sales representatives will use factors such as how many meals per day, how many people are in need of being served, as well as any requirements made by the health department.
Lease or purchase term
The type of lease or purchase term you require for your project will affect the cost of your temporary kitchen. Typically, our temporary kitchen facilities and mobile kitchens are leased on a monthly basis with discounts being offered for long-term lease periods.
However, the option to purchase a kitchen facility or mobile kitchen trailer is available. Purchases are a one-time charge and will be noted as such in the contract. All quotes will be provided to you by a Kitchen Corps sales representative and will include all applicable charges such as set up, technical support, transportation, and lease and/or purchase charges.
Location
The location of your project will have an impact on the cost to lease/purchase a temporary kitchen facility or mobile kitchen because transportation costs vary from state to state due to constantly changing gas prices. Kitchen Corps minimizes this cost by having several storage facilities located across North America.
