Frequently
Asked Questions
Is a down payment on a temporary kitchen facility required?
Yes, a down payment is required after a contract has been signed and before the temporary kitchen units will be released for delivery. The down payment includes the first month’s rent, a refundable security and cleaning deposit, and delivery fees.
The first month’s rent is determined by the total cost of the temporary kitchen facility, mobile kitchen, modular kitchen or kitchen trailers that have been outlined and agreed upon in the Equipment Lease Agreement that is provided to you by our sales representative. The cost varies depending upon the size and type of unit(s) requested. Please see “How cost is determined” for more details on pricing.
A security and cleaning deposit is required in order to cover the cost of any damages that are incurred during your lease period. This deposit is equal to one times the monthly rental and is fully refundable as long as the units are returned in the condition they were received.
After the lease period, Kitchen Corps technicians will perform any repairs and cleaning that is necessary. Any charges that were incurred will be deducted from the deposit and the remaining balance will be returned to you in the form of a check along with a report outlining any costs that were incurred.

The cost to transport the temporary kitchen facility, mobile kitchen, modular kitchen or kitchen trailers to and from the job site is the responsibility of the client and will be outlined in the lease agreement. Transportation is provided by national trucking companies that are hired by Kitchen Corps. Fuel charges will be included in the transportation costs. Transportation quotes will be presented with the quote to lease a temporary unit(s) and are generally good for 30 days due to the fluctuations in fuel prices.
