Frequently
Asked Questions
How is the size of a temporary kitchen facility determined?
Kitchen Corps, Inc. specializes in helping clients determine the size of units that will best suit their needs.
Components used to determine the temporary kitchen facility size are:
• Type of food service operation.
• Number of people to be served.
• Number of meals to be served per day.
• What existing facilities you have available.
Different types of food service operations require different size kitchen facilities. We provide mobile kitchens to a variety of clients which range from private catering events to large universities to 24-hour hospital services.
The number of individuals being served and the amount of meals per day they will be receiving helps Kitchen Corps determine the equipment line and preparation space that is needed.
Our sales representatives can also assist you with incorporating your current facilities into your temporary kitchen plans. While some clients need our full temporary kitchen

services, others only need certain components of it. For example, if you are renovating your production kitchen but your dishwashing area is still accessible, Kitchen Corps could provide you with only a production kitchen. If you’re only need is walk-in refrigeration and freezer space, we provide that too.
Kitchen Corps is very flexible in helping our clients find the right temporary kitchen solution and the right budget whether you have to serve thousands, hundreds, or only a few meals per day.
